Only non-profit organizations, 501(c)(3), serving the CWF service are are considered for event sponsorship. Funding priority is given to events focused on helping residents eat better, move more, avoid unhealthy substances and connect with others in healthy ways.
The annual sponsorship budget is $10,000 for all five of our service area communities. Sponsorship requests will be reviewed quarterly with the following application deadlines - March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. We will award up to $500 per quarter to each community for a total of up to $2,000 per community per year. You are not required to contact your wellness coalition but do need to complete an online application.
If your sponsorship request is not funded, we hope you'll understand there are many competing needs and opportunities for funding in the CWF service area and you don't necessarily need to give up. The field may not be as crowded in the next sponsorship cycle.
